Pie lovers come back for more

QUALITY, consistency and reliability are the three reasons why Mark Darley has continued to work with Eric’s for almost a decade.

Known to many pie lovers as Mr Ds and Nova Scotia Foods, Mark travels the UK to food, agricultural and game fairs selling his own recipe distinctive pies. He even won a gong at the British Street Food Awards for his full meal, pie and mash.

But Mark admits that it all relies on having a good quality product that consumers want to come back for time and again.

“We sell many of our steak pies at the same fairs year in year out and customers make a point of coming back to see us. They know us for a tasty meal that is value for money and easy to eat on the go.

“It’s important that we have a good quality product that is consistently tasty and that the pie maker, Eric’s pays attention to detail,” he added.

Having achieved success with his own recipe steak pie, popular for its thin pastry and tasty high-quality beef Mark turned to Eric’s when he wanted to develop a game pie.

“Increased consumer demands for food that they can trust and that tastes good has driven the need for businesses like us to offer new fresh ideas that meet younger customers needs.
